By bonding everything together there is a chance that a small fault will be transfered across a larger area, you are in a way creating a Conducting Location. Ensure small appliances are protected by way of 30ma rcds.Ok,thats brilliant, wonder why that's not required.

No this is an old argument and I blame the 15th Edition and some consultants who still think putting green/yellow wires on any metalwork is a good idea. It some cases it could prove to be lethal.Would they be classed as an extraneous conductive part?

Okay got you.I agree but was trying to get the OP to think why they may or may not require bonding as the post I quoted of the OP's said "wonder why that's not required".
We recently had this problem in a commercial Kitchen. NIC say not necessary if they have rubber/plastic feet. Therefore not in contact with earth. Maybe advise them to get some ? In our case they all had ferrules on the feet so no problem.
