Someone has just called me asking if I can test the burger van. I have tested site shower / asbestos decontamination units before, but that was when I was employed and the company had made up its own sheet for this. So two questions is what sheet can this go on?and as it is a mobile unit is it are they covered by anything like part p etc? ( Maybe a silly question but this is the first one I've done off my own back )

Probably just as well you put it here mate. I think it's a standard EICR you'd use and I doubt it's covered by anything except the usual gibbins re competency

mobile and transportable units are covered by BS7671 so you are just doing the same thing for an EICR with additional requirements. Could be fun with the earthing arrangements but other than that you are there.
Part P will not apply as it is not a domestic residence, or associated with one.

Cheers bud just making sure just threw me why my old company made up there own cert for it?

There are transportable buildings Periodic Certs or something like that, the NicEic do them, I started to create an Editable PDF of one, but got bored of doing.

Yeah I thought I had seen a cert for them, going to look when I get home to see if I can find an unbranded one.

Hmm, would be interested in seeing it, the copy I had was from 2004 I think, and another one a couple of years later, both are Nic ones, and both different layout.

Any luck on the unbranded one?
Might have some time this weekend to do an editable PDF.

Mark I noted on your form there is a section 7 about ceiling spots but this section is bot in the Kewtech certs so did you or a Schemie add this

Nope no luck in finding one if you do get a chance to do one drop me a pm and I'll happily try it out for you haha.

I'm afraid not it will have to be onions and burger sauce, brown sauce on bacon rolls tho :-).

Making me hungry Saturday treat greasy spoon bacon, sausage, egg, onion, and black pudding stick. Worst bit about it is it's in the big orange sheds car park but it is the best around.

Would you not just shown the trailer as a 'portable appliance'? Because really, thats all it is. I don't see how you can do any Ze/Zs tests as there isn't a fixed supply as such.

OT, I have only just noticed your post.

In all honesty I didn't know it was there as I did not create these forms or use them, all I have done is amend them as TesterSteve has slipped under the radar.

I presume it something he has come across often enough to list in the "other" section.

It can be easily removed and put as per the model form in BGB with a couple of blank rows to be filled in if required.
