C7 Figure of 8 UK power cable

I have an electronic device (X Box One S) that came supplied with a 5AMP Fused figure of 8 power cable. I want to buy another cable, and my local store only stocks 3AMP fused cables of the same type.

My question is, can I just buy the 3AMP fused cable, and replace the fuse with a 5AMP one, or can this cause problems? Is the wiring thinner because it's supplied with a 3AMP fuse?

The Xbox1S has a lower power consumption that the Xbox1, and apparently the highest mains demand is about 70 watts when gaming. So way below 1Amp current.
I think you will be fine with the 3A lead and even if there is a beefy inrush current when you turn it on, you should not need to change the fuse from 3A.
