does anyone know the connection details or have a wiring diagram for a Zanussi internal wiring for oven zop37982xk

Its has three contacts for the mains connection, marked 4 5 6
4 is obviously earth as its marked
5 and 6 are a lottery.
I realise it might not make too much of a difference as some European ovens are designed to work either way .
I just don't want to invalidate any warranty .

I looked online for manuals and nothing has been fruitful I tried calling Zanussi and gave up after hour and half of hanging on . Ive sent a message via contact to Zanussi with no reply after a few days .
Just a final fitting to be done so I can get paid
Just wondering if anyone had any knowledge

thanks

Got a picture of the connection diagram?

From the U.K appliance Techdesk refering to a different model oven , but possibly using the same block;

Zanussi ZOB35301xk oven. On the mains wiring block at the back… - https://www.justanswer.com/uk-appliance/8484y-zanussi-zob35301xk-oven-mains-wiring-block-back.html

As part of the Answer;
"Switching neutral is less stressful for the switches and is now common on appliances."

.
Thanks I had seen that answer on my internet quest ,,my only concern would be if it failed at some point. Zanussi would have a get out if it was wired incorrectly

They wouldn't have a get out, as the terminals are not marked on the oven and not identified in the manual for that oven.

You wouldn't expect to have to ring the Tech helpline everytime a Zanussi oven was installed and if that's what they expect then that should be part of the instructions, in fact there should be a label in the connection box stating that.:eek:

Everyone else seems to manage to put suitable markings on the terminals .

Only problem with that is . .what if they had a sticker on it identifying the L and N and it's just misring on this oven .

Dont think it's one I will chance for now.

yous need to upload a pic. otherwise it's guesswork.

Same block as the link to U.K appliance.
So it would be fair to say that "neutral separates earth from live" in all Zanussi ovens using a connector block of that type.
In any other case the installer needs to ring Zanussi to get confirmation.

Hi I’m not a sparky so apologies.I’m also about to fit a new Zanussi oven as above. Can anyone advise on the cable I need to purchase to run from the oven to the mains. My model is ZOPNX6X2 and is rated max power 3,490kW, 220-240 V 50-60 Hz
