Chinese New Year Tomorrow!!!

It's that time of year again when everything goes mad over here. The main exodus started to get into full swing a couple of weeks ago, but it's been busy for around a month now. You can't purchase a train, plane, or bus ticket for love nor money right now, as all the migrant workers are making there way back home to far flung towns and villages. Millions upon millions of them.

Were just going to sit back and relax for a fortnight!!

Anyway, Kung Hei Fat Choi, to one and all!! lol!!

Enjoy it Eng, I would love to be over there right now, I love chinese food and I bet there is going to be some kind of party going on, much better than the rain and dark Mornings and evenings over here, have fun.

Actually i've lost a day somewhere, been thinking it's Thursday today, but it's Wednesday!! lol!! Anyway Chinese New Year starts Friday (31st) The weather isn't too bad at the moment, but rain wind and cold is no stranger here either, the site is still full of mud from last weeks heavy rains...

Only 2 of us here over the New Year holidays, the rest of us are off on their vacations. We will be taking turns to check the site over the New Year (couple of hours here and there) to make sure the main contractor and his subbies don't try any fast ones ...lol!! ...If they have anyone to pull any fast ones that is!!

MDJ, unfortunately REAL Chinese food bears little to no resemblance to that which you enjoy in the UK and Europe etc. But if you like very hot spicy food, then you'll be fine... I don't!! I've made friends with a few restaurant owners and can in the main get the sort of Chinese food i enjoy!!

You're New Year sounds very much like my Christmas’s used to be.

To escape my son and I went in to work to have a look around.
It was also a good way of getting rid of all the detritus of Christmas. Open the furnace and the whole lot would go in.
