Clear chandelier wires

We have got a chandelier but the wires are clear it has 2 clear wires and a earth wire but one of the wires has a S on it what colour does this go to on the ceiling rose thank you for reading

If you have ES (Edison screw) lampholders you need to make sure the live goes to the centre connection

but one of the wires has a S on it

switch wire .but you never know with out a continuity tester .read the instructions that came in the box .

As shown in the O.P photo where fingers can just as easilly access either pin. And the thread of the lampholder is no longer conductive.

However it would be better to stick to convention with centre pin live.

Having looked at the lamp holder from the photo I see what you are saying Lee but I would still go down the line of making sure the centre contact was the live.
