went to throw some garden waste in a Appropriate bin .. 20 or so smashed eggs it the bottom.

Is it hoarders .. or Freebie Food parcels going to waste
... Regional Egg thieves .. unable to shift their Booty ...

I think the governments oncoming status of “Test, Isolate, Trace Scheme” has a problem already with mnemonics.

Brussels can keep their sprouts, and the french can keep their bread.
The Irish can keep their stew, and their cream liqueur.... actually, no ... give it here.

Arn't all electricians bald?

I think I have posted this before, but my wife had great pleasure in informing me that I have had no hair longer than I had hair, I did start to loose my hair when I was eighteen, a pronounced widows peak as they where called.

Over the years, (about sixty of them) I have saved, I estimate about £7000.00 on hair cuts, that's an awful lot of beer vouchers.

I took a long-ish walk today to a local beauty spot on the West Highland Way, with sandwiches and refreshment to enjoy in the sun by Craigallian Loch. Here is a pic of the loch, with Dumgoyne (a volcanic plug) in the background...

I am a bit pi**ed off at Screwfix not allowing you to use gift vouchers online. you need to check that what you want is in-store, then trot along sharpish with your voucher. My daughter gives me vouchers and I use them to buy gizmos I don't really need, but quite fancy anyway. Today, I was browsing for a KewTech Duo non-contact tester, and reading the reviews i decided i would buy one to compare with my Di-Log and my Fluke, both of which have been fine.
anyway, here is one of the reviews:

"I dropped it from a great height. The pieces separated and the battery fell out as you would expect but it didn't break. I put it back together and it worked perfectly.
It does work don't get me wrong but I am not happy putting complete faith in these things so I still use a tester screwdriver too. "

Discuss.

Just to make things really confusing....

Boris has announced the lifting of restrictions are being done in phases... phase 5 being what we were in, phase 4 are the recent changes and working toward phase 1.... which is least restrictions.

Nicola, on the other hand is starting at phase 1, and slowly lifting restrictions to phase 5!

Boris says you can meet another household up to 6 people, Nicola says 8.... (thank goodness, there was 7 of us in my parents garden. If we lived in England, I would have had to leave a child at home)

On a more serious note, I lost an utility room extension job to someone that could quote from a scrappy looking plan, without visiting site.
Glad I missed it, the customer is a nightmare. And if she wants anything else, (such as mr low quote not turning up) then it’s an hourly job situation.

meeting in a pub are an englishman a scotsman, a welshman and an irishman.

chatting over a beer or 3, they get round to discussing christian names.

" I was born on St. George's Day. patron saint of enland, so my parents named me "George"".

funny, says the welshman. " I was born on St.David's Day, so I was named David, or Dai for short"

scotsman pipes up ( see the funny there? pipes =piper = bagpipes):

I was born on st. andrews day, so I was named Andrew".

so then the 3 of them shout up........

"what's your name paddy?"

irishman responds..............

"Pancake".

Totally unbelievable, Tel
there’s no way those 4 individuals from each corner of the British Isles are discussing names.
It’ll be football, or Brexit or How come We’re in here when all pubs are shut due to Covid? ;)

As a man, I used to think I was pretty much just a regular person, but I was born white, into a two-parent household which now, whether I like it or not, makes me "Privileged", a racist & responsible for slavery.

I am a fiscal & moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a fascist because I plan, budget & support myself and my family.

I went to Secondary School & have always held a job. I now find out that I am not here because I earned it, but because I was "advantaged”.

I am heterosexual, which now makes me a homophobe. I am not a Muslim, which now labels me as an infidel.

I am older than 40, making me a useless eater who doesn't understand Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat.

I think & I reason, and I doubt much of what "mainstream" media tells me, which makes me a "Right-wing conspiracy nut”.

I am proud of my heritage & our inclusive British culture, making me a xenophobe.

I believe in hard work, fair play, & fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort - not freedom of outcome or subsidies which makes me a borderline sociopath.

I believe in the defence & protection of Great Britain for & by all citizens, now making me a militant.

I am proud of our flag, what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly, so I must be an imperialist and a racist.

Please help me come to terms with the new me because I'm just not sure who I am anymore!

Funny - it all took place over the last 7 or 8 years !!

If all this nonsense wasn't enough to deal with, now I don't even know which fecking toilet to use !!

Why is that so terrible, when it’s alright for half of Liverpool to party in the street?

The Liverpool thing is shameful. They were even firing rockets at buildings, which is probably what caused the fire in the Liver building. Dicks.

It kind of loses the joke when the U.K. had the same sort of mass gatherings in Liverpool for the football and London for BLM demonstrations.

the only reason trump decided to wear a mask last week was because someone said he looked like the Lone Ranger.
For someone that obviously protects his eyes when he’s on the sunbed, you think he would be safety conscious in other areas

I'm impressed by the extra effort Lidl's staff have been putting in to be helpful during the pandemic.

Some of them have even started to learn English.
