Have a 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4 petrol it cranks and won’t start. Trying to diagnose if crank angle sensor before replacing as is difficult. I don’t get any error codes besides p1637 which is a memory code. Could this be the problem I didn’t think so?

also with obd2 scanner attached when cranking I get a rpm signal which I thought came from the CAS so now questioning if that’s the problem. Can it still be faulty and still give a taco reading? Fuel pump has been replaced I did that anyway as gauge not working but problem remains.
Thanks in advance.
