Hi all, no big deal, but does anyone know how the "title" which goes with avatars on the site were chosen when the site started using new software?
I've been given "Alarms/cctv" as opposed to say "Electrician's Arms", which it was on the old site. (I do install alarms/cctv but my main work is electrical installation)
It hasn't bothered me before today when some new to**er on the site challenged my views claiming what did I know 'bout 'electrics cos I was an alarm installer! Now nothing like being called a plumber, & I don't really have thin skin, but it prompted me to ask the question

Hi know exactly what you mean it does look like your bread and butter is in alarms and cctv looking at your badge. (saw the thread you were on about too) I read the thread GMES linked to and it seems some have the arms and some have cctv/alarms now when they previously had both.

Whilst I have installed PV before I certainly wouldn't consider myself any sort of guru!
