How do you feel when a dog dies and you love it?

We have a dog named Yuki who is our most beloved dog in over 7 years. But on October 8th 2018 I left home for my friend's birthday. But she was weak before I left. Then when I got home she was gone and she seems to be fighting over the illness that she feels. I am very sad because Yuki is a very sweet and very protective dog. Yuki is our dog that we will never forget.

My friend said a dog is a man best friend. Dogs love you more than they love themselves when you show them love.

I miss Yuki so much...

We all feel pain when a loved one passes away, pets are no different. I shed a tear, when our cat had to be put down. I look after my sons dog from time to time, and she's a wonderful friendly dog; but I know there will be some hurt, 'cos she won't outlive us.

I know of an old lady, who lived nearby. She past away at the weekend; didn't really know her or her family, but I'll miss the few words we had, as we lived our day.

Thats where pets are different to humans; if you can or want to, get another dog to ease the memories.

I lost my cat in April, he got run over outside our house. I was devastated. They are part of our families, Our two dogs are just like two little people.

So sorry. Gut wrenching to lose loyal trusting friends that give such unconditional love. Had to say good by to a couple of dogs and several cats over the years. Currently have several boxes of ashes sat on the window sill that I can’t bring myself to bury as we keep moving every few years :(

little Misia ( as in my avatar) is coming up to 10 years old. she has had a neurolgical problem all her life ( one of her back legs stops working intermittently ). It's getting worse and we have to face up to the fact that if she starts to suffer pain, we may have to have her euthanised.
