It’s down to the person doing the inspection as to whether it’s satisfactory or not.Well that's ruined my plan then.
If a response from the IET will not sway you, what will?
There must be an organisation that you respect or believe has greater knowledge than yourself that you will listen too? Surely that must be the IET, if they are the ones that write the spec out on the EICR's?
Also, it would be good to know your reasoning? I'm guessing it is along the lines of ....
A house could be littered with C3's to the point where the electrician feels an unsatisfactory is required?
I'm 85% in disagreement with you, but 15% open to suggestion!
But I doubt he would get much work or remain part of a scheme for very long.
