Old school friend texts me, "could you fit a couple of metal switches for me please"
He's quite handy with DIY, and old cars, but says himself he's no electrician. "Its witchcraft!"

Good to see a do-it-yourself-er NOT attempting electrical work when they're not competent doing so

I like that...a good DIYer asking for professional help. The old barter system works well these days...a pro does you a good job, for a fair price, and vice versa..everybody wins!
