I had a 9kWh array installed in late Dec 2021. By mid-Jan I noticed my energy consumption meter is only reduced by some typical 15% despite solar yields equal to 50% - 90% of my typical use. I have micro inverters with Solar Edge & a Luxpower Tek ACS monitoring system. My home has an ELSTER AS300P SMET1 meter.
I read online (Which Consumer ---) that there has been issues with some Smart SMET1 meters recording Yields as consumption. I am unsure if this is relevant to my predicament. My Solar installer say they are looking into it but I have lost faith and are taking an age! Octopus Energy have been notified of a potential issue & I have requested a meter upgrade!
Anybody on here come across this issue before? Is it feasible that the installer has an errant wiring config? Where can I go for further help?
