Hi, struggling to get quotes for upgrading my system as all the installers round here are chockablock doing regular installs after the price hikes. But, ive been thinking about doing this for a while as being a small holding with 5 freezers going, we use a LOT of lekky.

Its currently a 3.9kw system comprising of a 12 panel groundmount system and a solar edge invertor. If i add another 8 panels, what are the immediate implications? I presume i would need an upgraded invertor and a regulator of some sort to limit the feed in?
