Questions i need answers to. i'm given a scenario for this radial question but not going to write it out

What are the test sequence for radial socket outlet? ( i put )
test the continuity of circuit protective conductors (R1+r2)
Insultation resistance test
polarity.

Would it be the same if it would be a radial circuit ^?

Got a question on a exam asking for: 5 external influences for a domestic dwelling? would any of these be correct.
Temperature or ambient temp.
Damp
Vibration
Mechanical shock
corrosive or polluting substances.

-Pretty sure they are in the regs somewhere not sure what number atm as i dont have regs book with me
the exam is close book so pray I pass haha.

kk ty. what would the senses be for trunking like what would i look for on a installed trunking. it says list the sense used..
would these be correct
Sight : check for wear and tear
Sight: No burrs or loose metal hanging off
touch: check for mechanical damage.

Not sure if these are correct. i guess they shud be somewhere in Guidance notes 3 or regs.

Right,i'll explain it more precisely. Who is the final exam,to which this course and test paper,is aligned to?

There are any number of exam authorities, for example City and Guilds, and it is this,i was interested in.

Correct for the radial circuit socket outlet, if it were a ring instead of a radial then you would also need to test ring final circuit conductors (i.e. ring and figure of 8 tests).

For external influences corrosive or polluting is probably less common in domestic, but the others are good. mechanical shock may be described as impact. Possibly solar for large windows/conservatories, maybe foreign bodies for dust.

For trunking you are looking to see it has the correct IP rating, is securely fixed and has lids in place(sight, touch), it is not overfilled (sight), has no sharp corners internally (touch, sight), dual voltage band cables are not run together (sight).

You would find it useful to have access to guidance note three as this covers most of the items in this sort of question paper.
