Fault finding in the am2

Hi I have my fault finding resit in a couple of weeks.

the 3 possible faults are-open circuit short circuit and high resistance

how would I test for each of the above faults and what sort of resolute am I looking for on the tester
The test instruments I have is a low ohm continuity tester and an insulation reactance tester
