Hi Everyone. My electrician has now rewired house and has covered the wires in a plastic capping. What is the best way to cover this before it gets plastered?

Well to be honest if your re-plastering the walls .....then the best material to fill the chase in is ........................ plaster.

I would only use a filler if your just cutting a channel in a wall that is not going to be re plastered.

paiunt over the capping with unibond. this will ensure adhesion of the plkaster. forst a bit of bonding, then finish.

weak mix of unibond, then Multibond plaster (it's a rougher plaster that doesn't shrink so much), then finish plaster plasterers job for a good finish)

nah, wee buggers up the plaster.

Most plasterers just prefer you to leave it to them, as they will do it their way. If you are trying to fill it as your own job, then that's a different matter.
