Hello All, My name is Tom and I know just enough about electrical work to be dangerous, thus I usually have a professional do the work. That said, the most complex activity that prompts my question only requires the ability to change a bulb.

I have 10 individual lights in our bathroom that each takes a G9120v60 watt xenon bulb. They run pretty hot and the light is pretty yellow. I wanted to replace them with more of a sunlight LED, that was hopefully brighter. The LED that I replaced the xenon bulbs with was a dimable G9 4000k daylight 6w equivalent 40/50/60 watt LED bulb. When I installed the new LED bulbs they functioned, but they were dimmer than the xenon bulbs they replaced.

What I’d like to know is whether there is brighter 4000k or greater G9 LED bulb. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Tom

You would have to compare the lumen output of the lamps to get an equivalent brightness.

whether America markets their lamps with lumen data I don’t know.
