Hello all,

Can anyone a decent tool bag?

I’ve found the quality seems to get poorer and poorer and nothing lasts! The threads break and bits fall off, straps break, zips break.... tried Stanley, CK....

Thanks! Dave

What are you looking for, street cred or practicality?

I recently purchased a veto pro pac XL based on the recommendation in this thread and another. Very happy with it, 100% worth the price tag.

It's the Veto pro pac XL for me too!

Veto tech pac and just bought the tech pac lt for maintenance as well. Awesome bags tbh

Ck tech bags are a good bag
Dunno so much had one of them and the straps broke first the shoulder strap then one of the handle straps and the stuff I had in it wasn’t particularly heavy :(

Hmm, perhaps the Magma ones, the old ones though not so good.
Bought a new one because the zip on my old one was worn out.
Transferred my tools from the old to the new, picked it up to put on my shoulder, strap broke.
Got it replaced and the strap broke on the replacement after a couple of months.
Stitching just gave up.

I've used a Stanley Organiser tool bag for a few years and it's still in top condition. Best bag I've owned.

The stitching is going on mine, only lasted 6 years and been abused daily, they make nothing to last these days...

I agree ......... this was the last CK for me ........................ need better quality and don't mind paying a bit more.......

Stitching on shoulder strap of my ck magma backpack started going after about 12 months of use. I then purchased a veto pro pack and have never looked back. It's a lovely bag and good quality. So far it's been 2 years and going strong.

I am on my second CK open tote now. Probably had about 4-5 years of use between them, and I reckon my current one has another year or so in it. One of the main things I like about it is the roomy and spacious side pockets.

I would happily pay the huge cost of a veto, but their layout doesn't quite suit me. Only one I would consider getting is the OT-XXL but it's extinct as far as I can tell. I would buy one tonight if there was a bit of tweaking and slightly less emphasis on the VErtical Tool Orientation-ing - it has too many of them.
