And in the next exciting installment..... debt collectors are pursuing them with full pace, and have told me that they believe there is sufficient grounds to allege fraudulent trading - which means that you can go after personal assets, not just the Ltd Co. ones.

And, talking of fraudulent trading, I'm waiting for a face to face meeting with the Police, as the CID fraud office seem to be most interested in an awful lot of this. I've discovered that there are at least half a dozen suppliers and customers involved in this little problem, and there's previous history!

Meanwhile, the interest is racking up nicely (assumes that one day I'll eventually get to see it...).

And in this weeks episode.... Police informed me on Friday that they plan on arresting him for Fraud sometime this week. In their mind there is no doubt that a crime has been committed, and also against others. There may also be an allegation of theft to come from a 3rd party (the client!). If he'd have paid me on time, then all his little scams would have remained secret.... I'm almost starting to enjoy this now. Of particular interest to them is the one about how he managed to buy a house whilst bankrupt, and seems to think he can skip the country to Afghanistan with the TA to avoid detection.

Meanwhile, my debt collectors are extremely interested in this development and will shortly be requesting Companies House to remove the Limited status from the firm....which means he/his assets are all for the taking.

Well.....what a morning!

Quick update - Police not interested in the fraud angle, just 'too hard to prove' and not in the public interest. But on the getting my money front.... eventually lost patience with the letter writing debt collectors, next step would be small claims but then he's already got 3 unsatisified CCJ's against him already, so what's another one......

Until I found a firm of debt collectors last week that you just don't argue with. Well, you could argue with, but it wouldn't last very long. I've just had a meeting with one the largest scariest men I've ever met (and this comes from someone used to dealing with body guards and security staff in the music business). Ex decorated SAS (genuinely, as we happened to discuss a mutual aquaintance) and in short he thinks this rogue needs to learn a lesson the hard way. My outstanding is currently £8.5k, his firms 'fees' are magically going to spiral that figure to £25k (which as a licensed collector they can do) and based on the fact that his credit searches show £47k in their personal current account THIS MORNING (not quite sure how that info can be legally obtained, wasn't going to ask) reckons he'll have collected it personally by the end of the week, with a healthy extra slice to come my way. He is even going to arrange for some buddies of his to pay him a visit in Camp Bastion.

Wade - do you want his number?

Oh, speaking of numbers - Zoe, Talk-Talk. 07761 xxxxxx. Believe the beer is on you??

Good lad ..... nice to see you're getting the hang of "The Geordie Way". I used to send 3 ex-shipyard lads round. ;)

Nice work Rockingit. But as you say, you don't need the hassle. I'll bet it's damn near taken over your life with all the thought time you've given it. Hows the sleep?

Hows the sleep?

Let's see now... a 22 month old daughter, two stroppy teenagers, a stressed wife, a life increasingly spent back on the road (just got back now from the last night of Marc Almond's tour yesterday), a rogue builder.....yeah, of course I get all the beauty sleep I need..........
