HappyHippyDad - Esteemed Arms Supporter Yesterday at 11:17 AM #1 A customer has been told by British Gas that their boiler requires a type A RCD. Below is a picture of the existing CU. Does anyone know if these RCD's (CGD - control gear direct) have a marking somewhere, or, if they are just always Type A? Or perhaps always Type AC?

Avo Mk8 - Esteemed Arms Supporter Yesterday at 12:53 PM #4 The CGD products (now Lewden?) are still sold by Denmans Denmans | Electrical Wholesaler Supplies - https://www.denmans.co.uk/den/ Edit....just noticed this... Looks like they would be type AC by default, but a type A does exist/is available? Last edited: Yesterday at 4:19 PM
