I'm using DC adapter 5.8 volt with 580 miliamp to produce 1.5 amp by using a pair of NPN transistor 2N3904 to be build as Darlington circuite.
Is it possible?
You could in theory build or buy a buck converter to generate a lower voltage at higher current, but given 580mA at 5.8V (3.3W) available, the max voltage you could get with 1.5A draw would be around 2V,i see, I just to booast the amperage but don't care to lower bujt simply used to charged two 1.3 Li-ion battery![]()
I see, It is Nimh cell with two batteries. You could in theory build or buy a buck converter to generate a lower voltage at higher current, but given 580mA at 5.8V (3.3W) available, the max voltage you could get with 1.5A draw would be around 2V,
I may be missing something, but a Li-Ion cell is normally 3.7V, not 1.3V. NiCd or NiMh batteries are 1.2V.
Where does the 1.3 come from? But you can have 1.3Ah Li-Ion cells!
