Hi,

A client has been asked to get an electrical inspection done on her camper that has been converted to a mobile bar, power to be via a generator.

Is anyone aware of a specific certificate for such things as a standard EICR would pretty much read N/A.

Thanks

The fixed installation in the mobile unit needs to comply with BS 7671 (including section 717 - Mobile or transportable units).

So if it's a low voltage mains installation, I'm not seeing why say a commercial EICR form would mostly be N/A. Sure there are some sections regarding supply, but the bulk of the EICR form will still apply.

Your client needs to have an EICR carried out as the electrical installation should be in compliance with BS7671 Section 717 as stated above. There is no such thing as a standard EICR because this Report covers a multitude of different installations.

.

Thanks westward, I was just wondering if there was a document more specific to this request
