Hi guys, I am needing a new set of VDE drivers after my last 2 sets have worn in just under 6 months (Not sure if I am treating them right)

I had some Facom ones which lasted 4 months so upgraded to some Wera Slipstop ones which are now looking a little worn after only 2 months. I work 10 hour days, 6 days a week and the drivers get some serious use, but I don't abuse them (Opening cans, chiseling etc) so don't know where I am going wrong.

I am now looking at trying some Irazola drivers as everyone seems to rate these but after a quick search on the web can see 2 types. Does anyone know which are the better ones?

The first are called Technoplus (Techno+) and have a Black & Grey handle with an orange shaft

And the second seem to be called Aislo and have Grey & Orange handles with Orange shafts.

Can anyone help??? Thanks :D

I still swear by ( and at occasionally) wickes own; the same as Draper expert but a lot cheaper. I buy a new set about once a year so as to keep mine in good condition and have been giving mine to relatives but as of this year might donate to my local college

Eskimo39,

I have a set of the Techno+ ones and really rate them. Good handles, good torque and hard wearing.

Have previously had Draper Expert which are not too bad (nice grip handles) and Wera which worn out really quick.

Been using Irazola drivers for several years, the ones with the orange and grey handles.
No problems with guarantee, snap a driver tip and wholesaler replaces 'gratis',no questions asked, irrespective of how long I've had them.

J.
