I completed my Level 3 303 Electrical Technology course and most recent 17.1 Edition Exam in May. Since then I've been trying to find employment as an electrcian in Shropshire but to no success. I don't have a great amount of experience which I think is the main problem, I've done some small things in my house and friends house.

On letters I've sent to companies I have asked if I could volunteer at weekends to try and gain experience but again this has been to no success.

Could anyone give me advice that they think could help me get a job, or does anyone know of a company which is looking for electricians in Shropshire?

Thanks in advance

kamikazi is in shropshire, i think. he'll know best for that area.

what do you think all them windmills in wales are for?

Hi Iam in shropshire as well just started out and finding work hard to come by. Ps windmills in wales are to make leccy for the french they like them more than the english ha ha.

Shropshire star? Usually have a few recruitment ads in there, mostly maintenance if I recall

Just type electrical wholesalers into yell and forward your cv to all in the area. Do it twice to get more attention

You may be finding it hard to find weekend work, as a few may not do much on a weekend maybe ask to work minimum wage during week or something dunno mate
