We are looking at getting, such as a panasonic toughbook, to use on site.
(Fill in EICRs, program fire alarms and nursecalls, CCTV etc.).

Previously used a very cheap chromebook with android, to use mobile version of cert software.
Can't get away with it, and obviously no good for connecting to anything.

We could get another van for the cost of a new toughbook,
would anyone have any apprehensions buying second hand?

At the same time, I don't want to buy something that's already past it, to find out it needs new battery packs etc.

I'm not interested in tablets, I like a keyboard!

Any advice appreciated!

Regards

I've never had anything apple! I don't suppose c-tec, kentec etc software would work on them anyway...
Very rare to see an iphone with an intact screen

What about a Samsung tablet with a good aftermarket two part case with rubber corners, etc. Rhiono/Gorilla maybe?
