I replaced a ceiling fan with one with a LED light. The switch is a Lutron MACL-LFQH light/fan dimmer switch and the fan has a Lutron CM-L300FQ1 fan module wired into it. The fan speed goes up/down as expected from the switch. The light, however, dims very little with the switch, and at the bottom end of the dimming the light will flicker and flickers when shut off at the switch. The LED is a 3k-5k light but it is always extremely bright blue light. Feels like it’s at the 5k range but will only dim down to 4.5k before it starts to flicker and won’t go down any further.

Does this sound like a switch/led light incompatibility, and I should try replacing the led first? Or is this more symptomatic of a switch/wiring issue that I need to attack first?
