So I bought a light fixture from a shop which runs a 60w candle bulb. I have rewired it using a block to connect it to a plug.
All the wires are connected to the correct nodes within the block and plug.
Unfortunately I am receiving no light from the bulb when switched on.
Any advice is welcome.

Hi Steven, welcome to the forum :).

Do you have any electrical experience, test meters etc (Your profile hasn't been filled out)... this will help us with how we respond to your query.

Why have you had to rewire it. Shouldn't you take it back to the shop and say it didn't work?

Why did you not buy a light with a fitted plug?

Photos of the wiring connections at the plug and the light fitting would help.
