I am terminating and testing a couple of panels for a restaurant, so they turn up friday and there have 10amp type c mcbs protecting each dimming modules 12 in total. Now the problem / question is do the mcbs have to be a type c as theres not a hope in hells chance of the ZS of theses lighting circuits meeting the maximums of a type c, i will be contacting lutron directly in the morning but its been bugging me all weekend.
I have tested one of the shorter circuits R1+R2 and am looking at 2.53 ohms!

I have fitted a lot of lutron grafix eyes in the past but this is my first homework's

Any constructive advice regarding LUTRON needing 10 amps type c mcbs would be appreciated thanks Dave

The dimming module may need C type protection at it's input, is the output protected or limited in anyway ? I was just thinking of a similar thread where the outputs were fused/protected by a 1A OCPD

I was thinking on the lines of the power input side may have a very different max Zs than the output side, I am not familiar with that particular product, is there any manufacturers guidelines ?

Hopefully i will find out tomorrow, bit annoyed as when i meet the lutron rep i asked for rcbos and its come with schneider mcbs on the input side of the module
