just done an inspection on a new rewire of domestic property main bond to water is not at stopcock but on rising main in airing cupboard what code do you think this should be I've put c3 but am now wondering if it should be c2 thanks guys

i think just laziness cables not clipped in loft, old clamp left on gas pipe, main earth only a 10mm cooker outlet plate hanging off wall, neutrals don't correspond to fuse ways in c/u really want to give it unsatisfactory but can only find code c3s

sounds like you've done your job then, remember we're not the police. Just got to put down what we find and give a expert opinion.
Must admit I've had times when I wish i could say more on the cert but cant, lol

no didn't take any pics, customer got elecsa cert but circuit details on cert don't match circuits as connected in c/u. a real messy job but all test results are ok

It depends on the plumbing TBH....this is a case where plastic inserts make a difference. If there is a break in continuity on the stopcock side of the bond in the airing cupboard then effectively the water main is not bonded(there may be an unbonded extraneous conductive part).May possibly warrent a C2 under those circumstances...or possibly a C3 with a further investigation requirement.
