Or even the less powerful but much cheaper Makita 8406. Hired one of these a few times so when it came to buying my own I had no hesitation in getting one. My core (excuse the pun) business is ventilation and I've no cause for complaint with the 8406.
 
Millwaukee do a core still for £400 it's a tough piece of kit. I've done 10 4" cores in a day and it hasn't squealed once. It's used daily now for about 4 years.
