Thanks @Andy78 think I’m over thinking it, never come across them before.... the main switch ln550 appears on the drop box on the software I use whereas the mcbs don’t...

That sounds some very specific software if it refers to the device by serial number.
Only needs to be recorded as a BS3871 type 2 really.
