Happy Christmas to all, couple of hours peace whilst they are all at church. Me cooks the lunch and prezzies I don't bother with.

All prezzies opened, the dog is relaxing after all the excitement of tearing open everyone's parcels, the family are just bout to go over to the mother in laws house and I'm about to start cooking. I'll be glad when it's all over.

Got this for my boy. Not quite up to your collection but it's a start.

It’s been a strange one this year.
We either have my parents or hers for dinner…. but this year was supposed to be at the in laws, her sister and family and her aunt. A group of 11 humans, 4 dogs, and one of us not drinking.

They called it off yesterday after both coming down with this winter cough bug. So everyone made other plans. Aunt has gone to the sister in laws, and we’ve just been at home.. the 4 of us, plus eldest daughter on FaceTime from S.Korea.

Scraped together enough food from the freezer to have a faux Xmas dinner. Took some of the massive turkey from in-laws… pigs in blankets, stuffing. Enough veg and potatoes in freezer.

The only thing missing was the sprouts.


It has been remarkably smooth and stress free without having to worry about when everyone was coming…. Must do this again!


So it’s a night of Strictly, Who, Wallace, Gromit, Gavin and Stacey…..

Lazy day today. Might go for a long walk round the fields if the weather holds.

Ive got the keys to the doors of a few jobs that i can pop in on during the holidays.... so i can do a couple days here and there.
An EICR on a cafe booked in on 30th.
