Your profile suggests you are DIY so I assume you have little or no knowledge for connecting in a safe manner a roller shutter motor.

Hi
I have basic level of nvq and city and guilds in electrical engineering. I have run some motors to do milling machines lathers and 3phase donkey saw running on single phase but this motor has 7 wire and I've not come across this before. Just need someone with more experience to help.

Basic anything is not good enough for what you are trying to do.
Once the system is in it will need commissioning. I don't think you have the necessary skills.
Please get somebody in.

You speak only of the motor, not the shutter and its associated controls. Are you using the motor to drive a shutter or something else?

What limit switches & safety devices does the lift have? That will determine how the motor controls are configured.
