Nail Guns

I have a big job that requires miles of plastic capping Strips.

Are there any Nail guns around that take Masonary Nails and or Capping Nails for use on Caping Strips

Spit also do a range again expensive. Hilti's can be picked up cheap on eBay they must be the most nicked tool in the world!!

Spit has always been a reliable gun, alot cheaper than Hilti too

SPIT AND Paslode are good, they make Electricians and Plumbers Gas Nailers as well as the standard Gas and Cartridge operated ones, you can rent them for about 20 pounds a day plus the cost of the nails/gas fuel cells....
If you ask them they will put you through a free 1 day safety and maintenance course and give you a plastic card with your details on it, and when they visit sites to do training they give out free safety specs, mugs and really nice fleeces, just make sure the gaffer doesnt take the whole pile for himself like happened when they came to a site I was on....him and his buddies were walking about in fleeces , Tee shirts and Jackets with Paslode on them, wearing Paslode specs and drinking out of paslode mugs...


They do capping nails and a magnetic cap holder attachment, and the caps come in plastic tubs/pales, they slot onto the magnet and the nail fires through the middle of them......ask in your nearest tool hire shops...
