I'm sorry, you guys really take the biscuit.
A couple of key strokes and you would be able to find out that what you believe is completely untrue.
What bothers me, is that rather than exerting your fingers in such an exercise, you prefer to exert them in the defense of your misconceived opinions and beliefs.
To my mind any right thinking person, would at least verify that what they have posted is correct and not the propogation of lies and false propagander.
The fact that you did not after my post avail yourselves of the opertunity to check a few things out, suggests that you either already know your posts are bogus, or are so bigoted and set in your ways as to not care about the truth of your claims.

Unfortunately, it is your sort of person and your beliefs that plunged Europe and most of the world into a second world war.
I imagine that most of those who defended this Country during that war would be disgusted and appalled to find the same sort of people that they fought against are happliy living and spouting their poisonous beliefs in this Country today.

This thread is like reading the Daily Mail, come open your eyes we in this country have a welfare system like no other in the world.

People seem to think they no best because of what the press tell us. As was pointed out earlier who on here would seriously pick cabbages in a farmers in the summer for low wages and other seasonal and menial jobs that they do.

i almost feel,sorry for the people who have such a blinkered view on these issus.

I don't really know what too say. I've met quite a few polish lads, who will literally dig for england and then on the flip side i've met some who literally don't care, rough-arse every single job they go to and freely admit they wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the money they're making (thus, proving they don't give a **** about this country).

It needs to be capped most definitley, and something like e54 says them coming on contract terms would be perfect. I don't mind foreign workers if they work just as hard as anyone else and to a satisfactory standard.

An argument like this is always going to be split 50/50, and rightly so. I'll remain neutral and say i can see both sides to the argument.

I've looked around and seen the quality of the work some of these immigrants do they may appear to work hard but the end result leaves a lot to be desired

You are correct we have a welfare system like no other in the world that treats most people coming to these shores better than the indigenous population

What makes you think I'm getting what I've said from the press.

The summer harvest years ago was done by students for minimal pay and board but these days that appears to be to much for them . The rates of pay were always low but with supermarkets like Tesco dictating what they will pay for the produce this obviously reflects in the rates of pay the farmers can pay

And I do feel sorry for you that you can't see what is going on

On the one hand he's moaning about immigrants coming over to do the jobs that the local people don't want to do.
Dosen't blame the employers' for offering crap wages, blames the immigrants for taking them instead.

Then he's moaning about the immigrants getting free cars, free money and free housing.

Can't seem to make up his mind whether it's the jobs they are stealing that no one else wants, or that they are scrounging benefits.

If it's the fact that the government gives immigrants cheques for cars and cheques to go to Halfords to buy sat navs because they can't read the signs these are facts from people ( friends) who are working in places with immigrants who have been given this assistance

Or how about the coach load of dodgy immigrants bussed up from Dover to the Liverpool passport office and given passports, money and clothes the coach driver is a family friend

Are these the facts you are looking for real world not dodgy reports from the internet or press

There are strong arguments for and against regarding immigration, cultural diversity etc etc i could list them not as an bigoted blinkered view but cause and effect, 80% - 90% of all laws legistration are now passed to us by the EU who have vested interest in raising the economical level of the poorest members ... the truth about all this thread is simple to express

Immigration can be good and positive for a countries growth but only if controlled.
Open door policy that we are been forced to have mixed with the most generous benefits system in the world sees us with unmanageble problemsm overstretched medical systems, major housing shortage etc etc the list goes on, we also have problems in this country on how immigration is placed and whats now happening is having a negative effect i.e. Decades of ethnic minorities have come to our country and created thier own isolated communities - what i mean here is areas have become predominantly one minority group and its had a negative effect on their ability to intergrate with modern british society..its this kind of problem that fuelled and was found to be the base of the Bradford riots and troubles also spanning other high ethnicity communities like burnley.

Now as a onlooker you can either look at this and get a kneejerk opinion usually formed down the pub or you can look deeper into the real cause of the problem without any far right attitudes and here lies the problem even if you give a researched breakdown of the issue you still get tainted as a bigot or racist as many MP's have when daring to mention the underlying issues.

As it is at present the open door policy cannot be maintained and will eat away at the already overstretched services, im in the mind that everyone is equal and deserves the same chances but at present we are trying to cure the whole EU while it falls apart, if the bulgarians and romanians are given free opendoor access next year its expected to be 10fold in comparison to anything we have already seen and every service is already at breaking point.... we shouldn't have to try to solve the whole EU problems on our own and the other main issue here is those coming in and working in britain are sending there money home to support there families (As i would do in there situe) this means the influx of immigration has a net negative effect on the country as the money earned isn't been injected back into britain.

Each area of each subject requires a thread all to itself and yes agree a 4-6 sentence reply and an opinion is going to make you look bigoted or racist so if you hold a opinion try back it up with facts or figures or you might as well join EDL or the likes.

There must be a reason why the majority of illegal or otherwise immigrants (many claiming political asylum/refugee status) make a be-line for the UK??

I've always considered that political or otherwise refugee's, should be minimal in the UK as it's an Island, often many thousands of miles from the country of origin of these refugee's. Which means they would need to pass through several countries to end up in the UK!! Surely if they were in fear for they're lives, they would only need to cross to an adjoining country, not to then carry on traveling to reach an Island thousands of miles away, passing through many other Western countries to get there!!

Your being creamed basically, by those that can't speak English, often with no intention of learning, have no useful skills, absolutely no intention of embracing a western way of life, and would bring absolutely no benefit to any future prosperity of the UK.

We in Wales have had Irish Italian,Polish and even English

migrants in the past. integration between the various peoples has resulted in a mixture of all those peoples and has never been an issue
In the last ten years or so we have had small(because we have little attraction ) numbers of Polish etc and they have been mainly welcomed with open arms and many have settled and integrated well in our society

Since the Enoch Powel times,looking at things from this side of Offas Dyke,England seems to have had to absorb peoples and cultures from all over the world, way above what was manageable or reasonable to expect of any country

The most sorry aspect of the mass immigration in the present times is the isolationist practices of the immigrants

It would be natural for a person emigrating to a country to want to get contact with like minded compatriots in that new country. but eventually they would adopt the ways and culture of their new home,unfortunately,the new immigrants to England (West Indians mainly excluded) seem to have wanted to bring their countries ways and their culture over with them and to remain as they were

They seem to not only have no will or intention of change, but they support, whether vocally or behind closed doors, the dismantling of the way of life of the people of the country they have been welcomed into. I find that so sad,those people have very sorry lives in my opinion because of their obsession with religion

Having said the above,I have no issue whatsoever with any immigrants that I have encountered personally or know of any issues with the children of past immigrants that I know about,it just all seems to be a problem created in the past .allowed to continue and is now to all intents and purposes unsolveable

England however seems to have a fight for its basic survival on its hands, a fight that not many are prepared to join.by the time the wake up call to construct a sensible immigration policy is heard I fear it may be too far down the track to have any effect

There is no easy answers because the foolish policies of the past cannot be undone

Exactly.
Made up rubbish that you heard from someone who heard it from someon who's got a friend who knows someone else, who's had it on good authority from such and such.
The government do not give driving lessons, cars or sat navs to immigrants on benefit.

One of the problems with allowing an unlimited number of immigrants into the uk is that it feeds the culture of employers paying poor wages.Think about it like this how many of us have changed jobs for more money? Most i'll bet, now if the immigrant is getting say 2 quid an hour in his own country and he can get 4 quid an hour here then naturally he is going to Want it, lets not forget that even our lowest lifestyle here is often better than they have at home.Now this then means that unscrupulous employers can get away with paying very low wages, we saw it in the 80's when the government brought out work experience schemes,remember them? a tenner more than the giro and work a 40 hour week, with the chance of a job at the end of it. How many people actually got a job at the end? Virtually non! I remember factory's taking on large numbers of what was known as the ET bigade (extra tenner) a company paid something like 25 quid a week towards having them, so when the average for a labourer was about £100 a week you could get 4 for the price of what 1 would cost you so the employer was on a winner.This was brought in by the government at the time and whilst it helped out their mates(the fat cat company directors) it did nothing for the man in the street.you can't blame anyone for wanting a better life for themselves thats natural, but you can place the blame firmly at the governments door for allowing immigration to continue unchecked.As regards brussels remember that anyone only has power because people allow them to, if every member country said no to some of the things brussels comes up with then things would change,however they won't as the things that are happening only have a negative impact on the uk.Look at the way the people in Ireland are kicking off over the flying of the union flag, I can see a turnaround on that decision shortly.Likewise if people over here had attacked government buildings instead of shops during the riots in recent years then we would have seen changes that need to be made rather than just a few more yobs getting flat screen tv,s.

My point being how is taking money from our economy and not paying your taxes any different from falsely claiming incapacit benefit, social benefit, housing benefit etc any different?

or is it because these companies are of a advantage to you that you refuse to accept they do no wrong?
