New Ford Custom and Ford Transit (MK8) Attacks

Just been sent this information which might help save someone with one of these vans:

The company I work for have fitted keyed deadlocks to the side and rear doors on all of our Transits. Even if the doors are left unlocked if the deadlock is locked there's no getting in. Just got to remember to lock the deadlock.

yeah like driving around in a cage .fords are know has a cheap fort Knox van .

I'd have thought that an electric one would be good for you there in Bath soon ?

Did consider it but until i buy a house charging is problematic. I havent the time to leave it in a car park long enough to charge. next van after this will be electric or at least a hybrid

So they're still going to cut into the panel, even though they may not succeed in accessing the lock...seems a half-baked solution.

so they should supply a sticker with their logo and "Security Deadlocks fitted to all doors". that should send the scroats to a wet-pants van. then again, who wants to nick a bog brush and a couple of ball cocks?
