Discuss New Ford Custom and Ford Transit (MK8) Attacks in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

The company I work for have fitted keyed deadlocks to the side and rear doors on all of our Transits. Even if the doors are left unlocked if the deadlock is locked there's no getting in. Just got to remember to lock the deadlock.

"Our shield fits inside the Ford Custom and Ford Transit left side load door and you cannot see any visible difference on the outside of the van. "

So they're still going to cut into the panel, even though they may not succeed in accessing the lock...seems a half-baked solution.

so they should supply a sticker with their logo and "Security Deadlocks fitted to all doors". that should send the scroats to a wet-pants van. then again, who wants to nick a bog brush and a couple of ball cocks?
