what brand do you use to mark your cables before you pull them through?

the one ive got at the moment is rubish and gets worn off by the other end of the run

i just use a normal permanat marker, allowing a few seconds for it dry before doing anything with the cable. Although LSF cable is virtually impossible to mark up. So use insulation tape and write on that.

Another for the sharpie, still using the freebies from the last Elexshow I went to.

i use cutters,1 snip cable 1, 2 snips cable 2 etc..using a pen you do end up with smudged numbers which could be anything.

i also use the "nick" method if i think marking will rub off.
