I'm after some old copies of BS7671. No real reason, I just like collecting them.

I'm just wondering if anyone can find any on the net, or if anyone fancies selling them?

The earliest I have is BS7671 : 2001 incorporating Amd 1 and 2 (2004) (Brown cover). There seems to be lots of these available but then absolutely nothing before that, why is this?

Before anyone posts up the First ed on line, I have already found that :)

th

I know you do Pete! I've just read a thread you replied to years ago saying there's no way you're giving it up! :):D

Is that the one published by the ECA? I have a very battered copy but can't remember if it is 12th edition or earlier.

@Pete999 Can I be cheeky and ask how you came by it? I know you're retired now but I'm guessing when you started as an electrician it was to the 14th?

That's very kind Pete, but I have the feeling you'd regret it once it's gone. Would be interesting to just even see a pic of it. :)
Not much good with computers Mate get my lad to take a photo and post it up, if you think understanding the current edition, this one is beyond belief, give me a few days Mate

Since I qualified last March, I’ve also been looking for old copies of the regs. Ironically though, before I qualified or even thought about becoming an electrician I was at an indoor boot sale in January 2018 and there was a guy there selling old copies of the regs going back to the 40’s & 50’s, he’d found them in his late fathers house after he had passed away. He only wanted £50 for a large box full of them.
