Hi all,

I appreciate this may have been asked in various forms but I would appreciate some advice on which is the best Online course for studying for the full 18th Ed exam for someone who has electronic and relatively basic electrical experience.

I've seen courses varying from £100 up to £300+

I suppose the next question is, which course has the most engaging (interesting) online video tutor, I quickly switch off if a tutor drolls on...

Is it a case of pay pennies and get monkeys?

I recently did the 18th Edition online course with XS Training. It's not a video-based course, but they have web pages (slides) for each section of the regs which allows you to go over the course material in your own time which I liked.

SparkyNinja's 18th Edition training videos (public and paid) are fantastic, goes through each section in depth, picking up key regulations and explaining that intent behind them.

Highly recommended and for free (if you don't go for the members videos as well) it's a great resource. Links below, disclosure; I get nothing from links, just sharing a good resource

Free 18th Edition video playlist; https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLg1OV4f2xHzVZMPyo_A8xd7s2jzd8WhP3

Members 18th Edition Playlist (£8p/m cancel anytime);

ETA; Members videos also include Design and I&T content, 2391 & 2395 iirc so well worth the cost of a pack of smokes or a few pints
