Sws

Hi all
I’m planning on getting some garden lights installed but wanted to think about options (And potentially costs) before deciding way to go. Do you think following is a reasonable possibility?
I currently have some wall mounted outside lights (switched from inside house) run from RCD consumer unit in garage. It’s fairly easy to access a feed for these lights (From loft space above garage). The pre-existing conduit in the garden through which the swa would need to run To the new lights sits below one of these lights And conveniently there’s a drain pipe running from side of light to ground in that area also.

Would it be reasonable therefore to tap into the existing lighting curcuit for feed to new garden lights and install a quinetic Reciever in loft before exiting cable through sofit. Then run this in some conduit behind downpipe to IP box at ground level, then 1.5 swa? through garden conduit to first IP box for new lights. Thought then loop swa in and out of IP boxes with about 3-4 LED spike lights fed off each box.

Would this work and would I need anything further in circuit? Or is it better to use a spur from ring main (although this is more difficult to access as there’s no socket in wall where feed needs to exit house).

Or would I need new circuit back to CU although that seems bit excessive. Assume I could get away with a load of 4-5w LED lights of existing lighting circuit?

Thanks for your help
