i have an outside light which goes into the driveway, they are like big downlights which sit flush.

The light sometimes works and other times when you put the switch on the "on" position it doesnt

it has a cdm-t 35w lamp which is new.

other components are an ignitor, a capacitor and a tridonic atco component which may be a ballast?

will it be a faulty ignitor or...?

best bet is replace the fitting. costs more in pi**ing about changing bits.
