hey all just been doing a test on a property out in the sticks an i am struggling with it please help...
1. first main problem, was unable to 100% identify the main incomong earth due to the house being fed with overhead supply L&N the only definitive earth reading was from a 6mm twin and earth and a 6mm earth which was untraceable the earth i had to assume was a earth spike or rod but i could not find any inspection holes i phoned scottish power an had no luck there.
The reading i got from the 6mm earth was 0.25ohm on a ze test is this to low for a earth spike test also there is was no rcd protection it was all 3036 rewirables pfc reading was 920 amp

2. tried carrying out the adibiatic but was unsure how to carry it out for this situation ... i know the main earth should be at least 16mm and 10 mm for water bonds and yeah no bonds that i could see
3. unbeliveable found copper wire in the fuse carrier, found pir light with exposed cores of twin an earth, excessive twin and earths unclipped un protected at main board, best one found a 4mm twin and earth wired into a plugtop with exposed cores and the guy wonders why his house had a fire
i could get out of that house quick enough
