I wouldn't pick either of the Seawards you've mentioned, no facility to test at 250v for sensitive equipment and my seaward 100 eats batteries pretty quickly. If you're going to be doing a lot something like a test and tag machine would be a great addition I reckon.

I like the Fluke 6500 and also the Megger Pat Testers, the Fluke 6500 is a good machine....

No experience of kewtech testers but see if you can get a look at one for a demo/play to see if it suits your needs before shelling out. All depends on your needs and expectations really

Personally I'd like a seaward Apollo 600. That camera could really come in handy when working under office desks.

Personally I wouldnt bother with either nor the course. Are you solely wanting to do pat testing??

If so the very best of luck.. Your going to need it bud..

Its just for private jobs. Dad gets alot from estate agents

So could be a fair amount coming my way

I do work for a couple of letting agents and bought the Kewtech KT71 bundle and it was worth every penny remember people get brainwashed with Seaward but the KT71 is mains driven no batteries plus I don't use it a lot so for me it does the job
