Problem is they have a break glass at high level at the mo, they want to replace that with switch at card reader level, I've done this but the problem is it's not on a timed circuit you have to keep the switch pressed to get out... Spoke to someone and they told me to wire into 0v and exit on panel but stil not on timed circuit unlike the card readers are.. Thanks for any comments

What Paxton system are you using...Compact, switch2 or Net2...?

ok presume its a switch2, if you have keypad connected, you need to program exit time.....if you have prox reader, you need function card set

Ok net2, all timing is done via software, on the pc controlling the doors

So can that break glass circuit( now a switch) go on a timed circuit? If so does it have to be done via computer then?

push button goes across 0v and exit.....switch is normally open type.....Net2 is software driven, usually running off a pc all the time.
