I have just turned up at my parent house and they've tried to replace the old pir sensor but now the floodlight is on 24/7.
I've no multimeter and no idea which is switchedlive. can I just take out one of the live feeds and put it in Lout, and if it's still on 24/7 try the other live instead?

attached is the eisting wiring and also the pir diagram

The existing wiring shows both brown wires into the same terminal. One should be in the terminal it is in now and the other in the terminal next to it (black wire).
The cable going to the light is the one that should be moved.
You show the two earth wires as being disconnected. They must be connected to the earth terminal in the PIR, if present, or to each other, if no earth terminal is there.
