My positive news today:

My mobile only rang twice today,

call one was a request for estimate for a new CU, etc, etc

call two was a prospect I'd sent an estimate to a few days back asking me when I could do the work.

That's the type of calls I want every day.

Good news... Well Paul mate, where do I start today? I know!!! Now, as most of us on this forum are fathers, then how about the fact that I'm overjoyed at the fact that my beautiful darling eldest daughter has ditched the poncey, scruffy, spotty, toffee-nosed environmentality friendly loving, puke inducing, poetry reciting, karma loving, little git, who can't keep his bloody hands off of my daughter boyfriend!!! I think that I have my youngest daughter to thank for explaining to him that he is 'a middle class ****, who is about as close to being working class as the chairman of RBS.' I swear to GOD people, they are her words, and not mine. Then again, she is her mother's daughter.

When my two boys were tots and my best mate had 2 angelic little girls,he wasted no time swooning about them
I let him carry on swooning and then told him, when they are mature my lads are probably gonna do the buisness with them
The poor soul has spent his life worrying about the poor dears, and he now has had to pay for them to get wed to some of these middle class muppets


I would be frigtened to death of having daughters with lads like mine around
So my positive news is, I didnt have daughters

positive news;
paul landed a job with a firm, good on you mate you put yourself forward and they took the chance to get a good lad on board.
i got an essay back that i sweated over and it came up trumps
my other half has an appointment with the pain clinic so fingers crossed
just finished 4500 words so thats got to be good, maybe need a new keyboard soon
oh another positive the youngest one has been moved up a maths group and my eldest is taking her AS level exam this week at 15 years old in physchology and i can`t spell it

Today is the last day I have to wrestle with my dog to get his tablets down his throat, and luckily he seems to be healing nicely so no more on top of the vet bill! Also since his injury, I discovered that he's a great actor, so thinking of setting him up in an acting career to start bringing in his keep
