I'm changing a cu, there is a radial circuit in 2.5 mm2 t/e to a shed, feeding a double socket and a light, the run from the cu is about 9 meters, the sockets are supplying a tumble dryer and a freezer.

can you advise me on what rated mcb to use, the cu is dual rcd.
yours Pete.

Hi,

It depends on your 'reference method'. If the t&e cable is inside conduit and IN a wall then you have to use a 16A. If its inside conduit, but ON a wall then u can use the 20A.

..according to the regulations.
