Evening all...

Been to look at a job this week and part of it is to sort out the heating.

Commercial unit 30m x 15m x 8m high, all open plan just lightly cladded and small office in the middle.

The area they want to warm up is the customer/counter area 5m x 5m x 8m high.

Am thinking along the lines of installing a couple of 4500KW ceiling suspended radiant heaters.

Think this is the only solution, unless anyone else can give us some other ideas ?
(I'm ready and waiting for the funny ones:D)

Thanku,

Sy

Could you fit a door curtain type heater so at least it feels warm as you enter, imo your main problem is the ceiling height as most of the heat will end up 8m high

That is the biggest issue..8m high and all open plan!

Did think about door curtain, but it would only heat a little area... it's the counter area they really want heated up...

Sy:)

Decided not to go any further with this job.... just couldnt see any solution that would be affective enough. Too much risk involved on my behalf.

Advised the best option in the long run would be to partion this area off and have a suspended ceiling...

Happy Days :)
