TT system, have upfront 60947-2 with added on 61008 with mA and ms settings, now I’m getting Zdb of 22.9 ohms and Ka of 4.0, now the RCD can be what ever I set it to but I’m struggling, I’ve set it to 300ma and 300ms but can’t seem to get it to trip? I also have a split phase supply so have L1 and L3 and N but can’t trip on either phase thanks

Long shot but have you tried the manual trip on the RCD. I have found a few times that because no one has ever tested with the manual button the RCD sticks and you have to switch it off and on before the manual works let alone test current on the circuit.
Yes mate, all ok the RCD I have has a green LED light to show RCD function is on, thanks anyway and it’s brand new

What reading does your tester give the 300ms may exceed its threshold.

I have another lad coming tomorrow with a different tester and I have a Martindale ET4000 and yes tester will not give a reading above 300ms flashes red but surely the RCD should trip within 300ms x1 to comply?

That’s an additional 300mS to the tripping time the RCD normally has.
